As the warm yet gentle sun of June shines down, it's time to say goodbye after four years of growth. Holly's daughter attends Victoria Kindergarten's High-Tech South Campus—her elder sister graduated in 2023, and now the younger one is about to say farewell too. Over the past five years, both children have experienced their early years here, building a deep and lasting connection with the school—
one that reflects their family's educational values and leaves behind cherished emotional memories.

In this interview, Holly's mother takes us on a
journey of love and growth
, inviting us to feel the quiet yet profound nourishment Victoria provides, like
spring rain gently nurturing everything it touches
.
From Curiosity to Conviction
Witnessing the "Warmth" of IB in Practice
"When we were choosing schools, several parents of Victoria graduates told me that
their children's time here was among the most precious in their lives,
" Holly's mom recalled, her eyes still gleaming with emotion from that first school visit.

Five years ago, while looking for a kindergarten for her eldest, these repeated testimonials brought her through the gates of Victoria's High-Tech South Campus. Back then, the
IB learner profile
—with goals like "
caring
," "
inquirers
," and "
risk-takers
"—still felt abstract and idealistic. It was difficult to envision how such values could truly shape a child's development.

But now, as her younger daughter is also graduating, she shares with certainty: "
Despite their different personalities and interests, both of my children show habits of independent thinking, confident questioning, and—most importantly—a strong sense of empathy and responsibility. That's what IB education looks like when it comes to life.
"
Nurturing Empathy through
Mixed-Age Interaction
Holly's mom believes that beyond academic progress,
growth in life skills is just as important for young children
. She shared a touching story—not just about how Holly learned to use chopsticks, but how that moment
cultivated empathy
.
Holly joins her sister's class for mixed-age activities
"When she first started, the teachers had to feed her; by the next year, she was feeding herself; and in the final year, she began learning to use chopsticks," she smiled. "It was a classmate who taught her, and to this day, she proudly says, 'Look how good I am with chopsticks!'"
During mixed-age activities in the senior class, teachers would invite the older children—already skilled at using utensils—to visit the toddler class and help the younger ones with their meals.
"One day, Holly was feeding a younger child, and the little one slapped her hand away. She later told me, 'Feeding babies is hard!' That moment touched me deeply.
It marked a shift—from being cared for to caring for others. This kind of empathy and role-reversal doesn't come from lectures; it grows naturally through real interactions.
