Clifford Chance LLP is the top law firm in the UK, and it is one of the top ten largest law firms in the world. It together with Linklaters LLP, Allen & Overy LLP, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Slaughter and May LLP are recognized as top five law firms in London which are collectively referred to as the Magic Circle in London legal profession. In 2018, Clifford Chance LLP had total revenues of around £1.7 billion. Also, it was one of the first international law firms to enter the legal market in mainland China. Its offices in Beijing and Shanghai were established in 1985 and 1993, respectively. At present, the main businesses of Clifford Chance LLP cover banking and finance, capital markets, corporate governance, M & A, litigation and dispute resolution, real estate, taxation and labor issues.

伦敦国际仲裁院，正式成立于1892年11月23日，原名为伦敦仲裁会，1903年4月2日改名为伦敦仲裁院，1981年起用现名。原先伦敦仲裁院由一个联合委员会管理，联合委员会是由伦敦市和伦敦商会各派12名代表组成。1975年伦敦仲裁院与女王特许仲裁员会合并，故现在的伦敦国际仲裁院由伦敦政府、伦敦商会和女王特许仲裁协会三家共同组成的联合管理委员会管理。仲裁院的日常工作由女王特许仲裁员协会负责，仲裁员协会的会长兼任伦敦国际仲裁院的执行主席。伦敦国际仲裁院是目前英国乃至世界最主要的国际商业仲裁机构，它主要是为解决国际商事争议提供服务，全球超过一半的金融、矿业和建筑工程争议都在此仲裁。由于英国长期以来形成的完善的司法体制和公允的裁决，越来越多的一带一路上的争议也都选择伦敦国际仲裁院作为争议解决地。
