上海交通大学设计学院教授、博导,主要研究方向为城市生态、景观生态和环境遥感等。现任国际城市生态学会(SURE)执行委员及SURE中国分会副理事长兼秘书长、国际景观生态学学会中国分会理事、中国生态学学会理事、自然资源学会资源持续利用与减灾专业委员会副主任等。Remote Sensing编委、Frontiers in Sustainable Cities专栏副主编。主持科技部国家重大研发计划课题、国家自然科学基金、中德中心、欧盟伊拉莫斯项目(Erasmus+)、德国联邦自然保护局(BfN)、教育部科学技术重点项目等二十余项。
以上海及长三角城市群为对象,识别城市化导致的城乡梯度上景观格局的时空演变特征(Li et al. 2013b; 李俊祥 et al. 2004),揭示上海市城市的“扩散-聚合”螺旋式发展模式,长三角城市群增长存在等级特征,证明典型的西方城市增长的“扩散-聚合”假说不完全适合解释中国城市的发展模式(Li et al. 2013a)。在区域、地级市、县(市)三个等级上辨识区域城市增长的驱动机制(Li et al. 2018),构建社会-经济-环境可持续性维度的区域可持续发展评价指标体系(Li and Li 2017),为城市与区域的分级管控和可持续发展提供理论依据。

2. 城市化的生态环境后果及基于自然的解决方案
从景观生态学的视角揭示城市景观的结构(组分和配置)影响城市热岛的格局,定量化精细尺度的不同城市景观类型对城市热岛的贡献(Li et al. 2011);城市化梯度上的城市植物物候(Qiu et al. 2020; Qiu et al. 2017)和生物多样性格局(Wang et al. 2020; 黄玥 et al. 2019);创新性地提出冷岛效应指数、降温强度、降温面积、降温距离、降温效率等指标,从面积大小、景观组分、周边景观格局三个维度,揭示蓝绿基础设施景观结构与城市热岛之间的定量关系(Cheng et al. 2015; Wu et al. 2019),从而为城市化生态环境负面效应的缓解,城市可持续生态设计提供理论依据和基于自然的解决方案。
