in addition toraising interest rates, the Fed may take new measures this year to tightenmonetary policy.
TheFed is the world's largest holder of US Treasury Bonds, its balance sheet size isup to $4.5 trillion, if the Fed contracts the balance sheet, it will lead toback-flow of bonds back to the market, which may increase the market supply andpush up interest rates.
