Before joining the Foreign Service, Brendon’s work was primarily focused in Southeast Asia, including working at a law firm in Cambodia and training community leaders in Thailand. Brendon also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in northwest China. He earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and his master’s degree from Georgetown University. Brendon speaks Mandarin Chinese and is conversational in Khmer, Thai, and Portuguese.

He looks forward to engaging in a conversation with the Beijing American Center audience and answering your questions about life as an American diplomat.

This event will be conducted in English. You must be 18 years or older to attend. Coffee and cookies will be served.
