Haltom当然按客户的要求对照片进行了修饰，双方都对成果表示满意。这本是一次再平常不过的交集，出乎意料的是，圣诞节过后，Haltom收到了这名女士的丈夫发来的Email，内容是这样的:
“When I opened the album that she gave me, my heart sank. These pictures...while they are beautiful and you are clearly a very talented photographer....they are not my wife.”
当我打开那本相册，我的心都凉了。这些照片真的都很美，你的修图技术也相当高超，但.....照片里的不是我太太。
丈夫没有责怪Haltom对照片进行修改，他知道这一定是妻子要求的，但他说，Haltom让妻子的每一个“不完美”都消失，这仿佛将他们共同走过的人生也抹去了。
