The company was on the verge of bankruptcy, but a new CEO managed to turn things around.

With only five minutes left in the game, the team miraculously turned the match around.

1) turn the tables

He was losing badly in the chess game, but he managed to turn the tables in the final moments.

2) stage a comeback

The athlete staged an incredible comeback after trailing in the first half.

3) pull off a stunning upset

The underdog team pulled off a stunning upset against the defending champions.
