Introducing its essence from an early age nurtures moral character, instills the spirit of Chinese civilization, and fosters cultural confidence. From May 19 to May 23, the pioneer classes of Wan Yuan Xiehe Primary School hosted their annual Han Culture Week, offering students a vibrant journey into classical heritage.

Elegant language carries the legacy of civilization; the classics nourish young hearts. The first-grade Chinese team curated a themed performance titled Shēng Lǜ Qǐ Méng (The Enlightenment of Rhythmic Poetry), inviting children to explore the melodic charm of the Chinese language. Through heartfelt, spirited performances, students transported the audience into a world shaped by the poetic rhythm of centuries past.
Dressed in traditional attire, the young performers brought verses to life with recitation, song, graceful movements, and short theatrical scenes. On stage, they became “young guardians of classical heritage,” using their voices and expressions to echo ancient wisdom in a modern setting.
