BBC也有这么一个文章标题：He has a talent that is difficult to find.

开头的句子：He is hard to please. 意思上等同于：It is hard to please him. 不过这两个句子 属于不同的句式 。第一个句子中to please是形容词hard的补足语。而第二个句子中，it是形式主语，动词不定式to please him才是真正的主语。

除此之外，一些单词也可以“主动表被动”。比如“这本书卖得好”，可以说：The book sells well.

其他符合这一规则的单词还有read, wash, measure, print, prove等。举几个词典例句：

(1) Her latest novel reads well. 她最新出版的小说读起来很是引人入胜。

(2) Silk doesn't wash well. 丝绸不好洗。

(3) The room measures 6×6 metres. 这房间的面积为6米乘以6米。

(4) Press return, then the document should print . 按回车键，文件就会打印出来。
