From flowers to seating plans, the happy couple are taking charge of a ceremony designed to incorporate both families, their wide circle of friends, and to welcome the public into their lives.

Prince Harry and Markle have said they want their wedding day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too. This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters and values of the bride and groom.

据悉，其中1200名受邀者是来自英国各地的普通民众，这部分人选将由九处地区领主中尉办公室（regional lord lieutenant offices）提名。

A statement from Kensington Palace said: “The couple has asked that the people chosen are from a broad range of backgrounds and ages, including young people who have shown strong leadership, and those who have served their communities.”
