今天的这篇文章嘛，和蚂蚁金服有关。支付宝已经是我们日常支付的常态了，大家对支付宝背后的公司也并不陌生。话不多说，我们先看标题。 Ants in your pants , 蚂蚁钻进了裤子，想必感觉一定不好受。Ants in your pants意思就是说一个人 很紧张 ， 坐立不安 。比如说，周五就是工作的deadline了，但是Soren还没有完成任务，这个时候我们可以说，Soren has ants in his pants, for the due day is Friday. Due day和deadline一样，都表示截止日期。据说deadline是第一生产力，所以不妨在学习英语时也做个任务表，设个deadline以提高效率 set a deadline in order to promote efficiency.

回到ant这里，除了ants in one’s pants可以表达焦虑， butterfly in stomach 同样也可以表示紧张，恐惧，焦虑的心情。For instance: I had a butterfly in my stomach because I have to deliver a speech tomorrow morning.（我心里七上八下的，因为明天我要做一个演讲。）蚂蚁金服的出现，无疑使得银行家门紧张焦虑，因此用这个俗语做标题，可以说再合适不过了。

Break into cold sweats/a cold sweat 都表示出了一身冷汗。兔子我有蜘蛛恐惧症，只要想到蜘蛛毛绒绒的腿就会感到冷汗直冒。因此，我可以说，I break into cold sweats at the mere thought of spiders.

Take sth. For granted意思就是认为...理所当然。

Dominant 意思是显性的，占优势的，支配的。比如生物学中的显性性状，我们可以说 dominant character , 主要角色，我们可以说 dominant role . 如果我们想说...是生命中主要的掌控者，我们可以用the dominant driver in one’s life来表示。

From one’s perspective 意思就是从某人的角度来看。这句话常常用在议论文中表达自己的观点，from my perspective, I think... 在托福和雅思作文中经常可以见到。

这里的 off 用法比较灵活，不必深究，大概就是说前面的想法不成立。不是每一个中文的句子都有绝对对应的英文翻译。站不住脚是意译来的，当我们想说反驳观点站不住脚，我们还可以用 The opinion that against me is thin. Thin和off从某种程度说，都可以表示不成立，不靠谱。甚至我们可以用be easily challenged来表示。如果一个观点或者一件事很容易就受到威胁，被挑战，那么它一定是站不住脚的。

Fresh from visiting XXX , 就是表示刚访问了XXX。比如，在熊彼特以前的文章中，他就有提到，刚刚访问了白宫办公室，一位美国CEO就给他的高级顾问们发去了邮件。Fresh from visiting the Oval Office, an American CEO sends an e-mail to his top lieutenants.
