When the ancient river channel begins to breathe the waves of innovation, five thousand years is just the prelude. Look to the future : development belt along the banks of the Luo River in Gongyi will become the "sacred place of the central coordinate of Chinese civilization," attracting global attention to explore the roots of civilization; it will become the "destination of high - quality lifestyle" radiating to the Zheng - Luo urban circle, where modernity and tradition blend, and life and culture shine together; it will become the "place where the new generation of young people perceive the Heluo cultural vein," where the ancient cultural vein blooms in the new era's waves and becomes a cultural bridge connecting the past and the future.

我们诚邀青年设计师们来到巩义，

带着青年人的视角与创意，

在河洛交汇之地留下属于自己的作品，

让古老河流焕发生机！

In 2025, we sincerely invite young designers to come to Gongyi, bring their unique perspectives and creativity, and leave their own works at the confluence of the Yellow and Luo rivers, allowing the ancient rivers to regain their vitality!

本次竞赛将针对洛河沿岸16公里，着重打造6大滨水节点。

竞赛分为2个赛段：

赛段一：4个节点，总建筑面积2900㎡

赛段二：2个节点，总建筑面积3500㎡

设计内容包括建筑、景观、艺术装置等。

This competition will focus on a 16-kilometer stretch along the Luo River, with an emphasis on creating 6 waterfront nodes.

The competition is divided into two sections:

Section 1: Includes four nodes, with a total building area of 2,900 square meters.

Section 2: Includes two nodes, with a total building area of 3,500 square meters.

The design scope includes architecture, landscape, art installations, and more.

| 一个文明起源的“历史现场”

| 一处古今共鸣的“时空枢纽”

洛汭，洛河与黄河的交汇处，因其特殊的地理位置和自然景观，被古人视为天地交汇的圣地。这里既有黄土造就的邙山头与河洛交汇泾渭分明的天然画卷相互映衬，亦有河出图、洛出书、伏羲画八卦的古老传说。我们期待与设计师携手，在河洛交汇地为游客营造一段令人难忘的“文明中心坐标”朝圣体验，为周边居民营造一处满载地方记忆的生活乐园。

At Luorui—the confluence of the Luo and Yellow Rivers—where loess-crowned Mangshan ridges frame nature’s masterpiece of merging currents, legends of cosmic revelations like "the River Chart and Luo Script" and Fuxi’s Eight Trigrams have thrived. We envision collaborating with designers to craft an awe-inspiring pilgrimage to the "Axis of Civilization," where visitors trace ancestral wisdom while locals reclaim a landscape steeped in collective memory.

| 让千年诗魂在青春场域重焕新生

| 以诗心和理想，照亮青年的远途

在杜甫生命原点的巩义故里，我们期待与设计师携手，以杜诗美学与诗圣的济世情怀为精神基底，营造一组滨水码头与田野文化景观，守护诗人"忆年十五心尚孩"的童真本心，延续诗人"安得广厦千万间，大庇天下寒士尽欢颜"的赤子热忱，让千年文脉在青年社群的交互中焕发新生机。

·Revitalizing Millennia-Old Poetic Soul in Youthful Spaces

·Illuminating Futures with Verse and Idealism

At the riverside birthplace of Du Fu, where the poet’s childhood innocence met his later humanitarian vision, we seek to co-create dockside cultural landscapes that honor both his boyhood refrain "At fifteen, my heart still danced with childlike wonder" and his timeless plea "If but a million sturdy houses could shelter all scholars under heaven!" Here, Tang Dynasty poetics merge with modern idealism, reinvigorating cultural heritage through youth-driven dialogues.
