But Jesus came and touched them. "Get up," he said. "Don't be afraid."

8 他们举目不见一人，只见耶稣在那里。

When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.

9 下山的时候，耶稣吩咐他们说，人子还没有从死里复活，你们不要将所看见的告诉人。

As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, "Don't tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead."

10 门徒问耶稣说，文士为什么说，以利亚必须先来。

The disciples asked him, "Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?"

11 耶稣回答说，以利亚固然先来，并要复兴万事。

Jesus replied, "To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things.

12 只是我告诉你们，以利亚已经来了，人却不认识他，竟任意待他。 人子也将要这样受他们的害。

But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands."

13 门徒这才明白耶稣所说的，是指着施洗的约翰。

Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.

耶稣带着三个门徒上了高山。耶稣变了形 像，脸面如日头发亮，衣裳如光亮白，摩 西和以利亚显现与耶稣说话。这时有声音 从云彩中出来，说：“这是我的爱子，我 所喜悦的。”耶稣告诉门徒，祂也会像先 来的以利亚－施洗约翰一样受害。

耶稣变像 17 ： 1 ～ 9

耶稣虽是神的儿子，但祂来到世上，暂时比天使微小一点（来2：9）。耶稣变像的事件确证祂是神的儿子。彼得、雅各布和约翰跟着耶稣上了高山后，亲眼目睹耶稣改变为荣耀的形像，并与摩西和伊莱贾说话。不但如此，天父还清楚地告诉他们，耶稣是祂的爱子（5节）。耶稣吩咐三个门徒，在祂从死里复活之前，不要将所看见的说出去。耶稣是神全备而完全的启示，所以我们都要听从祂。我们要检视自己，主已经多次多方地临到我，向我说话，我是否因属灵上迟钝而不认识祂，也不听从祂。
