Title:
Edge Intelligence: Pioneering the Era of Ubiquitous Connectivity and Smart Computing
Edge intelligence is rapidly emerging, driven by the convergence of the Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, and artificial intelligence (AI), propelling digitalization and intelligent transformation to new heights. By seamlessly integrating model lightweighting with edge computing technologies, edge intelligence brings AI inference and computing capabilities to the network edge, revolutionizing data processing paradigms and the intelligent application ecosystem. Localized AI inference and decision-making not only drastically reduce computation latency but also effectively mitigate challenges such as bandwidth limitations and privacy concerns associated with traditional cloud computing. With these technological advantages, edge intelligence has demonstrated immense potential across various domains, including autonomous driving, smart manufacturing, and healthcare. Furthermore, it serves as a cornerstone for the new era of ubiquitous intelligence in the 6G-integrated air-space-ground network. Building on the success of the previous three editions, the 4th MLCCIM Conference will feature this special Workshop, bringing together industry experts, researchers, and technology developers to discuss cutting-edge advancements, critical challenges, real-world applications, and future directions of edge intelligence. This event aims to foster technological breakthroughs and accelerate industry adoption, paving the way for the next era of intelligent computing.
