作为“千禧一代”，他没有讲如何发现自己的目标，而是站在更高的角度，告诉大家发现目标是不够的，这代人要创造一个世界，帮助每个人发现自己的目标。
今天我想谈谈目标。
Today I want to talk about purpose.

I'm here to tell you finding your purpose isn't enough. The challenge for our generation is creating a world where everyone has a sense of purpose.
目标让我们感觉自己属于大于自身的一部分，感觉自己是被需要的，感觉前方有更好的东西等着我们去为之奋斗，目标能创造真正的快乐。
Purpose is that sense that we are part of something bigger than ourselves, that we are needed, that we have something better ahead to work for. Purpose is what creates true happiness.
为了保持社会的进步，我们肩负时代的挑战，不仅仅要创造新的工作，还要创造新的目标。
To keep our society moving forward, we have a generational challenge -- to not only create new jobs, but create a renewed sense of purpose.
世界的改变是显而易见的，你觉得很多人都将行动起来，然而行动起来的不是他们，而是你。
A change in the world that seems so clear you're sure someone else will do it. But they won't. You will.
但是，光有个人目标是不够的。你必须为他人创造出目标感。
But it's not enough to have purpose yourself. You have to create a sense of purpose for others.
他给出三种方式，以此共同创造一个人人都有目标感的世界。
每代人都有做出了属于自己时代的伟大事情，你可能觉得无从下手，但是没有人从一开始就知道怎么做。
没有人的想法从一开始就是完美的，只有当你着手做的时候才变得逐渐清晰，你只需要开始行动起来就行了。
Ideas don't come out fully formed. They only become clear as you work on them. You just have to get started.

f I had to understand everything about connecting people before I began, I never would have started Facebook.
做有大愿景、大情怀的事情可能会不被理解，你要做好心理准备。
其实，理想主义是好事，但你要做好被误解的准备。胸怀大志的人都会被称为疯子，即使你最终获得成功。你想解决复杂的问题，别人就会说你不自量力，即便你不可能事先了解一切。任何先行一步的人都会因为步子太快而受到批评，因为总是有人想让你慢下来。
It's good to be idealistic. But be prepared to be misunderstood. Anyone working on a big vision will get called crazy, even if you end up right. Anyone working on a complex problem will get blamed for not fully understanding the challenge, even though it's impossible to know everything upfront. Anyone taking initiative will get criticized for moving too fast, because there's always someone who wants to slow you down.
