2019年2月8日，北京市道可特律师事务所主任刘光超律师和国际业务部主任、高级合伙人张婷律师与伦敦海事仲裁员协会会长Ian Ganut先生进行了非正式会晤。Ian Ganut先生毕业于剑桥大学，英国大律师，海事领域跨界专家，精通造船合同、海事金融、海事仲裁等领域的争议解决。双方围绕国际海事案件、“一带一路”背景下海事争议解决等问题进行了交流，并针对中国企业如何避免和有效解决海事纠纷进行了探讨。
On February 8, 2019, Mr. Liu Guangchao, the Chief Director of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, and Lawyer Zhang Ting, also the Director of International Business Department and the Senior Partner of Beijing DOCVIT Law Firm, held an informal meeting with Mr. Ian Ganut, President of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA). Mr. Ian Ganut graduated from the University of Cambridge, and he is a British barrister and also the cross-border expert in the field of maritime issues. He is proficient in shipbuilding contracts, maritime finance and dispute resolution including maritime arbitration. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on international maritime cases and maritime dispute settlement under the background of the "One Belt and One Road" and discussed on methods and ways to avoid and effectively resolve maritime disputes encountered by Chinese enterprises.

伦敦海事仲裁员协会是公认的国际海事仲裁中心，所以其仲裁裁决在国际上的可执行性是最高的，普遍适用于加入《纽约公约》的153个国家。该组织针对航运及商品贸易案件而特别制定的仲裁规则已成为各国当事人广泛使用的主流仲裁规则。
The London Maritime Arbitrators Association is recognized as the centre of excellence in maritime dispute resolution, so its arbitral awards enjoy the highest international enforceability and are generally applicable to 153 States that have acceded to the New York Convention. The arbitration rules specially formulated by LMAA for shipping and merchandise trade cases have become the mainstream arbitration rules widely applied by the parties in various countries.
