Colin Firth

Colin Firth 公开读诗的场合不多，但架不住他天生一副读了很多诗的样子，而且一些细节透露，费斯的诗歌品味确实不俗。

费斯最近一次公开读诗是2010年，在 BBC 主办的一场纪念英国剧作家、导演 Harold Pinter 的朗诵会上。他读了一首品特的 Paris，声音沉静克制，但藏不住声带深处汹涌的暗流。

上面提到的让男人哭泣的诗歌精选集，费斯也参与了。全书100首诗歌，绝大多数都来自于英美二国的白人男性作家，费斯另辟蹊径，推荐了一首来自加拿大的年轻女诗人 Emily Zinnemann 的作品，让书评人直呼“品味不凡”。

Colin Firth 在 Genius 中的扮相

去年，费斯又在观众心目中加深了他文人的印象。在和裘德•洛合演的电影 Genius (天才捕手) 中，他扮演的著名文学编辑 Maxwell Perkins. Perkins 是文学圈知名的伯乐，F. Scott Fitzgerald 和 Ernest Hemingway 都是拜他的慧眼相识才有了日后的声名显赫。
