The hotel’s exterior resembles a perforated white box, characterized by its clean and distinctive structure. The facade features a rhythmic composition, with some floors showcasing triangular cutouts and others extending into full-length balconies.
由于酒店用地狭小，周边是东京典型的商住混合建筑，缺乏统一的城市景观。与大多数东京酒店不同，Rakuragu没有牺牲阳台空间来扩大客房面积，而是巧妙利用城市建筑的间隙，为每间客房设计了朝向不同的阳台。通过分析周边环境，设计师让每个楼层的阳台开口朝向最佳视野方向，既能让自然光充分进入室内，又保证了与周边建筑的隐私距离。最终，这些错落有致的阳台形成了建筑独特的镂空立面，让整个酒店既实用又充满设计感。
Given the limited space and the surrounding mixed-use buildings typical of Tokyo, Rakuragu diverges from conventional hotels by preserving balcony areas rather than maximizing room size. Instead, it cleverly orients each balcony toward urban gaps, ensuring optimal views while maintaining privacy from neighboring structures. The staggered arrangement of these balconies forms the building’s signature perforated facade, blending functionality with striking design.

酒店采用X1-X4轴的统一平面柱网结构，既保证了施工的经济性，又为空间布局提供了灵活性。通过调整X4-X5轴的单跨结构，设计师实现了三种不同的阳台形式，既满足了客房数量的要求，又塑造出独特的建筑立面效果。阳台朝向城市天际线开放，让客人能欣赏到东京多样的城市景观，这是普通酒店难以提供的体验。同时，阳台采用被动式设计原理，搭配Low-E玻璃优化自然通风和采光，既能在夏季降低炎热感，又能在冬季提升保暖效果——这一设计在新冠疫情期间显得尤为重要。
The structural framework employs a unified column grid along the X1-X4 axes, ensuring cost efficiency while allowing spatial flexibility. By adjusting a single span along the X4-X5 axis, the architects introduced three distinct balcony configurations, meeting both room-count requirements and aesthetic goals. These balconies open toward the city skyline, offering guests unique urban perspectives rarely found in standard hotels. Passive design principles, including Low-E glass, enhance natural ventilation and lighting, improving thermal comfort in both summer and winter—a particularly valuable feature during the COVID-19 pandemic.

酒店采用钢制支撑框架与刚性框架的混合结构，替代传统的梁柱体系，使建筑形态更加灵活。斜向的白色立柱不仅承担结构支撑作用，还成为客房的特色设计元素。为了最大化室内空间，梁柱尺寸被尽量缩小（梁高300毫米，柱直径150-200毫米），并隐藏于墙体内部，确保自然光能充分渗透。客房墙面采用弧形设计，模糊了室内外的界限，增强了空间的流动感。这种结构体系减少了阳台区域的立柱遮挡，让视野更加开阔。
The hybrid structural system combines steel-braced frames with rigid frames, replacing conventional beam-column setups to achieve greater flexibility. Slanted white columns serve dual roles as structural supports and distinctive interior elements. To maximize interior space, beam and column dimensions were minimized (beams at 300mm height; columns at 150-200mm diameter) and concealed within walls, ensuring unobstructed natural light. Curved walls in guest rooms blur the boundary between inside and outside, enhancing spatial fluidity while minimizing balcony obstructions for unimpeded views.

室内空间以简约实用为主，同时注重舒适体验。大堂采用极简风格，白墙、混凝土地面、灰色座椅和白色前台构成干净现代的氛围。特别引人注目的是东京We+设计工作室（We+ Design Studio）打造的艺术装置：一根白色立柱旁悬浮着椭圆镜面雕塑，成为空间的视觉焦点。
Inside, simplicity and comfort define the aesthetic. The minimalist lobby features white walls, concrete floors, gray seating, and a white front desk, with an elliptical mirrored sculpture by Tokyo’s We+ Design Studio suspended beside a white column, serving as a focal art installation.
