We are excited to announce a call for papers for a special issue on Spatial Statistics for Electoral Studies. This issue aims to explore the application of spatial statistical techniques in understanding electoral processes, voter distributions, and political geography. As elections are inherently spatial, with voting behaviors influenced by geographic, social, and economic factors, the use of spatial data and methods offers valuable insights into electoral dynamics.
